He is survived by: his wife Nancy Paul Stephens; his children, Tres Stephens (Gwen), Todd Stephens (Carole) and Jessica Stephens Franks; his grandchildren, Trace, Tyler and Sadie; his great grandchild Sterling; his granddaughter Brittney; his great grandchild Dominic; his grandchildren, Will, Brooke, Claire, Chase and Olivia; and his siblings, Susie Stallings and Freddy Stephens.
In remembrance of Bill's love for animals, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Wake County SPCA as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
