He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Johnson of Raleigh, NC, Mary Ann Highsmith of Wilmington, NC, Kater Highsmith (Jennie) of Ivanhoe, NC, Johnell Highsmith (Sudie) of Harrells, NC and Ronald Ray Highsmith (Georgia) of Raleigh, NC; and his aunt Isabell Highsmith of Clinton, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
