She was predeceased by: her husband Herman G. Harris; her parents, Lunnie Burgess and Eva Burgess; and her siblings, Frances Cox, Ruby Johnson, Frank Burgess, Billie Siler, Bruce Burgess, Oscar Burgess and Erma Smith.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Louise Burgess. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Moon's Chapel Baptist Church (175 Moons Chapel Church Road, Siler City, NC 27344).
