She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Kirkman and Mae Yow Kirkman; her former husband Billy Patterson; her husband John W. Parker; and her siblings, Helen Benner, Lib Deaton, Mary Jennings, Jesse Kirkman, Hampton Kirkman and Bobby Kirkman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Hooker (John) of Ramseur and Michele Lovette (Stephen) of Ramseur; and her grandchildren, Joshua Hooker, Ethan Rogers (Sarah) and Emma Rogers.
