She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard "Elwood" Carter and Virginia C. Carter; her husband Timothy Allan Sloan; and her brother Richard Lee Carter. She is survived by: her stepson Dominick "Nick" Sloan; her grandchildren, Bryson and Braydon Sloan; her sisters, Mary McCarter (Joe) of Nashville, NC and Shirley Hall (Hughie) of Rocky Mount, NC; and her sister-in-law Kay Carter of Wilson, NC. She is also survived by two nieces; two nephews; and numerous other beloved family and friends.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont in honor of Kathy.
