She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Lanier and Madge Lanier (Alton Stout); her son Tim Stout; and her brothers, Roger Lanier and Clark Lanier.
She is survived by: her son Chris Stout; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Goss (Danny) of Ramseur, Barbara Street (David) of Redding, CA, Mary Lou Lanier, Nathan Stout (Connie) of Ramseur and Royce Stout (Marilyn) of Seagrove. She is also survived by nephews, and cousins.
