He is survived by: his children, Terrie McDowell (Bobby) of Randleman, Debbie Goforth (Doug) of Morganton and Clinton Nance (Elizabeth) of Asheboro; his brother Hurley Nance (Frances) of Franklinville; his grandchildren, Magan Kale (Sean) of Asheboro, Brian Goforth of Morganton, Brandon Goforth of Morganton, Lee McDowell (Brittany) of Asheboro and Jessica McDonald (Rodney) of South Korea; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Ryleigh, Easton McDonald, Mackenzie and Logan Kale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (133 N Church St, Asheboro, NC 27203).
