It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Sowell Jr. of Randleman, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father Donald Britton Sowell, Sr.; his sister Lisa Saidi; his grandparents, Leon and Laura Godwin; and his uncles, Reverend William Leon Godwin (Mabel) and John Godwin (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his mother Cynthia Godwin Silagyi (Dale); his aunts, Jeannie Bates and Glorier Godwin; his brother-in-law Jamel Saidi; and his close friend Rita Cole.
