We announce the death of Gene Paul Derry of Randleman, North Carolina, who passed away on June 5, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolla Derry and Irene Derry; and his grandson Cory Ryan Clayton, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, BreeAnn Campbell of North Carolina, Cory Clayton (Rebecca) of Texas and Michael Derry of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Bryce Derry (Marisa), Easton Campbell, Taylor Campbell, Michael Clayton, Brydan Clayton, Chase Clayton, Samuel Clayton and McKenzie Clayton.
