With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen (Capps) Newman of Randleman, North Carolina, born in Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Capps and Margaret "Peggy" Capps; her husband Ken; her brother John M. Capps, Jr.; and her nephews, John "Dee" Capps and Kelly Mark Kellam.

She is survived by: her sister Peggy Millikan (Pete); and her nieces and nephews, James Kellam, Todd Kellam (Crystal), Richard Hall (Marie), David Hall (Susanne Gaddis), Danny Hall (Rashel), Beth Smith (Greg) and Tammy Potaki (Dave). She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews; and other extended family and friends.
