We announce the death of Shirley Mae Ray of Randleman, North Carolina, who passed away on August 10, 2026, at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold J. Cooper and Elizabeth M. Pensworth Kimball; her daughter Pamela Hirt; and her siblings, Harold "Jack" Cooper, Thomas Cooper, Ellen "Marie" Sucko and Richard Cooper.
She is survived by: her stepfather John J. Kimball; her sons, Harold Wayne Miller (Julie) and William "Bill" Miller; her grandchildren, Jennifer Scrip, Brandy Jones, Eliza Piper, Liam Miller and Charlie Miller; her great grandchild Bella Jones; and her siblings, John Kimball, Robert "Bob" Cooper, Carol Kazimer and Sandy Staley.
