He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Highfill Davis; his daughter Tonya Davis Tart (Willie Brent Tart); his grandson Willie Blaze Tart; his great grandchildren, Blakely Rose Tart and Willie Brooks Tart; and his siblings, Joyce Dorrie, Vernon Davis, Tonnie Davis, Wanda Suddreth and Vicki Watson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Centre Friends Meeting (325 North Carolina 62 E, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Centre Friends Meeting Cemetery (325 North Carolina 62 E, Greensboro, NC 27406).
