He was predeceased by: his wife June Pauley Perkins; his parents, William Perkins and Edna Cooper Perkins; and his siblings, Allen Perkins, Doris Perkins, Nancy Perkins, Dan Perkins, Larry Perkins, Thelma Perkins and Tennie Perkins.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Perkins Garcia (Zef) of Randleman, David Perkins (Vella) of Asheboro and Robert Perkins of Asheboro; his siblings, Mary Perkins, Louis Perkins and Sam Perkins; his grandchildren, Jonathan Forbes (Stacy) of Asheboro and Ashley Henson (Christopher) of Randleman; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Mason, Jackson and Johnathan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home and Cremation Services (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Perkins Family Cemetery.
