She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Parson and Bertha Mae Parson; her children, James Bradford "JB" Ferree, Jr. and Terry Ray "Bird" Ferree; her siblings, Pete Parson, John Henry Parson, George Parson, Clyde "Bunt" Parson, Wilbur Jarrell, Thomas "Sonny Boy" Parson, Ida "Ike" Craig and Louise Johnson; her children, Phillip Ferree (Mary) of Banning, CA, Devern Ferree of Asheboro, Lenord Ferree (Sara) of Randleman, Lisa Quick (Larry) of High Point, Darryl Ferree of Randleman and Lester Ferree of Randleman; her sister Lois Ann Hayes (Henry); her godchildren, Eddie Jones, Anita Marley and Altheia Hill Alston; and her sisters-in-law, Ernestine Coble and Geneva Parson. She was also cherished by 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
