With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ben Gordon Arrowood of Ranlo, North Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Joseph and Ollie Head Arrowood; his wife Catherine; and his siblings, Willard, Richard Arrowood, Ivy Arrowood, Ila Paxton and Bonnie Dockery.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Couick (Larry), Ben Arrowood Jr. (Lois "Sissy") and Michael Arrowood; his grandchildren, Kevin Couick (Brandi), Mark Couick (Kristyn), Jason Adams (Sara), Michael Arrowood Jr. and Julia Arrowood; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lilly, Ethan, Rebekah, Paige, Rhyen and Benjamin; his brother Henry Arrowood; and his sisters-in-law, Sally Wooten and Nell Lovingood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ranlo Baptist Church, 1517 Spencer Mountain Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
