He was predeceased by : his parents, Matthew F. Winfree and Ruth Proctor Winfree; and his siblings, Tommy F. Winfree, Raymond K. Winfree, Helen W. Carrico and Jimmy A. Winfree.
He is survived by : his wife Judy F. Winfree; his children, William R. "Billy" Winfree, Jr. (Beth) of Garner and Amy E. Herbst (Scot); his grandchildren, Lindsey Winfree of Garner, Kai and Aya Herbst; and his siblings, Florence W. Gupton of Bettendorf, Linda W. Boseman of Whitakers, Danny Winfree of Wendell and Gregory Winfree of Louisiana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
