She was predeceased by: her mother Lillie Ivory Hammonds; her husband James Earl Hammonds; her sons, Mark Hammonds and Billy Ray Hammonds; her siblings, Waitus Hammonds, Burley Hammonds, Alton Hammonds and Lucille Hunt; her grandchildren, Ronald Hammonds and Anne Marie Hammonds; her great grandchild Issac Hammonds; and her daughters-in-law, Dawn Hammonds (Timmy) and Rebecca Hammonds (Billy).
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy (Catherine) of Shannon, Wilbert (Wendy) of Georgia, Marvin of Lumberton, Timmy of Fayetteville and Lora (Bobby) of Shannon; her brother David Hammonds (Brenda) of St. Pauls; her close friend Audrey Bullard; her granddaughter Sarah Locklear (John); and her son Marty Jacobs (Tiffany). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren.
