He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Locklear and Ethel Lee Locklear; his children, Keith Lowery and Lisa Bullard; and his siblings, Curt Locklear, Hank Locklear, Harry Locklear (Red), Johnnie Locklear (Frog), Amos Locklear, Kathleen "Kat" Locklear, Geraldine "Lucy" Locklear and Clara Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Locklear; his daughters, Jennifer Bullard of Red Springs and Carla Bullard (Thomas Ray) of Red Springs; and his brothers, Jerry "Bay" Locklear of Red Springs and Carson Locklear of Red Springs. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Sandy Ridge Holiness Church (364 Modest Rd, Maxton, NC 28364).
