It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darren Locklear (Red Springs, North Carolina), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Scott Locklear; his grandmother Laura Boria; and his brothers, John Campbell, Jimmy Scott Locklear Jr. and Varcy Wardell Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Jones Locklear; his children, Gabriel O'Ryan Hunt, Violet Bullard, Mickey E-Dwayne Locklear, Kenna and Jennie-Kia Driggers; his grandson Deante Washington Jr.; his sisters, Ashley Jones (Justin Hunt), Megan Locklear, Amber Locklear, MiKayla Boria, Stevie Hunt and Victoria Harrell; his close friend Selena Jacobs; Rhonda Jones Locklear. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377).
