He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Bullard and Trolie Mae Woods Bullard; and his sister Lois Locklear. He is survived by: his sons, Don Mikle Woods Jr. (Vicky) of Red Springs and Willie Davis Woods of Red Springs; his sisters, Michelle Weel (Rob) of Raeford and Teresa Ann Coleman of Laurel Hill; and his caregiver Betty Barnes. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Elim Baptist Church (921 Wilson Rd, Red Springs, NC 28377).
