She is survived by: her children, Virgil Locklear (Karrie), Keith Carter (Delorise) and Mia Oxendine; and her sisters, Louise Carter, Brenda Carter and Mattie Locklear (Earl). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
