She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Brown and Katie Lee Brown; her husband Arthur "Zen" McBryde; and her daughter Jessie Bell McBryde. She is survived by: her children, Henry B. McBryde, Helen McCutchen (Glenn) of Raeford, James Marvin McBryde of Red Springs, Everline Hailey of Raeford, William Jr. (McBryde), Billy Thomas McBryde of Raeford, Lula Jane McBryde of Raeford, Brenda Joyce McBryde of Greensboro, Linda Joyce McBryde of Raeford and Prentice McBryde (Valerie) of Raeford. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Jesus Loves You Crusade Outreach Ministry Church (306 Hubert McLean Ave, Red Springs, NC 28377).
