He was predeceased by: his parents, William Locklear and Pernishie Scott Locklear; his sons, Anthony Locklear and Drew H. Locklear; and his siblings, William "McKinley" Locklear, James "Sonny" Scott and Shelby Jean Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Ree Locklear; his children, Harbert Locklear (Deb), Bryant Locklear of Maxton and Patricia Cummings (James) of Maxton; his siblings, Truman Scott, Peggy Locklear, Wanda Clark, Rachel Ammons and Barbara McGirt; his close friend Kenny Ray Locklear; and his caregiver Annie "Aunt Tea" Chavis.
