He is survived by: his children, Timothy "Timbo" Hammonds (Lorie) of Red Springs, Wanda Locklear (Bryan) of Red Springs and Lisa Hammonds of Red Springs. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
