He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvin Jasper and Viola Freeman; his wife Patricia "Patsy" Moore Freeman; and his siblings, Kathleen, A. J. (Arvin Jasper Jr.), William and Leroy.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie McKellar (Mark) of Kansas City, Missouri and Brian Freeman of Red Springs; and his grandchildren, Morgan McKellar and Matthew McKellar of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Westside Baptist Church (527 N Vance St Ext, Red Springs, NC 28377).
