He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sanderson; his sons, Daniel Sanderson, Larry Sanderson (Dawn) of Charlotte, Layton Sanderson (Misty) of Charlotte and Colt Lee Locklear (Tricia) of Pembroke; his siblings, Tena Howell of Lumberton, Sarah Locklear of Lumberton, Cathy Sanderson of Lumberton, Patricia Gail Pittman (John) of Pembroke, Linda Sturdivant (Billy) of St. Pauls and Robert Sanderson (Teresa) of Pembroke; and his nephew Jase Cole Lowery. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
