It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Briscoe McLaughlin of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallace Jackson McLaughlin and Mary Turner McLaughlin Gwynn; and his siblings, Willie Howard Graves, Lacy "Buck" McLaughlin and Vernell "Tootsie" Murray.
He is survived by : his wife Betty Graves McLaughlin; his children, Anthony McLaughlin Jr. (Nichole) of Knightdale, Sheila McLaughlin and Evelyn M. Douglas (Ray) of Raleigh; his siblings, Grayling McLaughlin of Yanceyville, Daryl McLaughlin of Reidsville, Vivian Jeffers of Yanceyville, Pauline Williamson (Tommy) of Reidsville and Paulett M. Jones of Danville, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Olivia, Ashanti, Tyson, Reiven, Tyler, Reychel and Corrie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
