He is survived by: his wife Lillian Faye Foster Roberts; his daughter Elisa Roberts Thames (Bruce); his grandchildren, Andrea Hinkle (Kaleb), Elizabeth Pape (Daniel), Heather Bishop (Nic), Karen Horky (Jeff) and Laurie Pace (Joel); and his sister Jean "Bug" Page (Harry). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Fairgrove United Methodist Church (1735 Cunningham Mill Rd, Reidsville, NC 27320).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Browns Summit United Methodist Church.
