He was predeceased by: his parents, Charle Andrew "Pete" and Ruby Mae Smith Allen; his wife Brenda Lee McCormick Allen; and his sister Joyce A. Swaney. He is survived by: his children, Dean Stone (Dawn) of Reidsville, David Allen of Taylorsville and Tina Blassingame of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Silas Allen, Chase Green, Kamden Allen, Katelynn Harrelson, Dustin Wallace, Dakoda Blassingame, Shyanne Blassingame, David Stone (Diamond), Ashlin Stone, Aliyah Stone, Elizabeth Stone and Levi Stone; his great grandchildren, Jakob Vernon, Roxanne Vernon and Gianna Stone; his former wife Elizabeth Gibbs Allen of Greensboro; and his nieces and nephews, Bobby "B. J." McKinney, Brittany Reid, Erika Swaney, Deborah Cardwell and Angel Shultz.
