He is survived by: his wife Shirley Williams Daniel; his children, Dan Daniel (Karen) of Reidsville, Karen Daniel Bailey (Jim) of Charlotte, Tracy Williams Minter (Keith) of Fayetteville and June Williams of Raleigh; and his grandchildren, Katherine Reynolds (Dylan), Eleanor Cochrane (Gabe), Avery Cherry (Joe), Ashton Bathie (Blake), Cole Minter (Hannah) and Mallory Smith (Jordan). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
