He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Allen and Myrtle Rickman Terrell; his children, Lorie Terrell and Donnie Terrell Jr.; and his siblings, James Terrell, Evelyn Garner, Mildred McPherson, Lydia Crawford and Annie Leigh Terrell.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughters, Donna Vickers and Johanna Gibson; and his stepchildren, Rudolph Baker and Amanda Petrich. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
