It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Lee Scearce (Reidsville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. Scearce, Jr. and Betty Grey Ellington Scearce. He is survived by: his daughters, Jenny Thomas "Sweet Pea" (Ray) and Rainey Brame (J. R.); his grandchildren, Carlea Cross (Parker), Jared Thomas, Addison Owens and Brighton Brame; his siblings, Terry Scearce (Tanya) and Diane Scearce; and his aunt Nancy Collie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
