It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry E. Winchester of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Henry leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses H. Winchester and Bernice Winchester; and his siblings, Ronnie Winchester, Carolynn Winchester and Susie Winchester.
He is survived by: his siblings, Reverend Burnett Winchester (Debra), Moses Winchester Jr., Larry Winchester and Lisa Winchester; his close friend Bethel Ann Farrish; and his former wife Faye Hampton Winchester. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spring Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (8175 NC-700, Ruffin, NC 27326).
