She was predeceased by: her husband Kelly Minyard; her sisters, Edna Fulp, Ida Orr and Janet Wood; and her parents, Bessie Austin and William Benjamin Austin.

She is survived by: her daughter Missy Minyard (Melodie May); and her brother William "Pete" Austin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
