Johnette Scales Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnette Scales of Reidsville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carrie Ernestine Poole Henderson and John Henry Henderson, Jr.; her husband Ronnie Scales; her stepchildren, Beth Smith (Thurman), James Morris Scales (Terri), Rodney Scales and Leslie Bergwijn (Clavon); her stepgrandchildren, R. J., Scott, Eric, Adora, Ashley, Aaron and Tyler; her brother Ilvarez Henderson (JoAnn); her nieces, Niki Henderson and Glynis Goolsby (Nathan); her great-nieces, Mariana, Madalyn, Lillian and Natalya; her goddaughter Akia Stokes; her aunt Ruby Holland; her siblings-in-law, Virginia Scales, Kathleen Blackwell and Larry Blackwell; and her close friends, Linda Alexander and Fredia Jones. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
