She is survived by: her children, John Carter (Lori), Jessica Price and Craig Carter (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Ashley Carter, Marlon Price (Ashley), Leland Price, Lisabeth Straughan (Eddie), John M. Carter IV (Stephanie), Aaron Carter and Luke Carter; and her great grandchildren, Carter Straughan, Ashlyn Carter and John Moody Carter V..
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (1821 Ashley Loop, Reidsville, NC 27320).
