She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Gilley and Gracie Lamberth Gilley; her spouse Taylor W. Griffin; her siblings, Calvin, Robert, Malcolm Gilley, Ruth Corrum, Helen Davis, Dorothy Robertson, MaryLee Loftis and Bobbie Jean Taylor; and her great grandchild Griffin Guill.
She is survived by: her daughter Anita Griffin Guill (Larry); her grandchildren, Taylor Guill (Melissa) and Heather Swayne (Don); her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Gina Haizlip, Jacob (Kaylea), Matthew Guill (Allison) and Savannah Goolsby; her great great grandchild Kade Patterson; and her sister Betty Lou Gunn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home (1909 Richardson Dr, Reidsville, NC 27320). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Reidsville Alliance Church (1300 Freeway Dr., Reidsville, NC 27320). A burial was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at the Reidlawn Cemetery (1530 Barnes St, Reidsville, NC 27320).
In honor of Margaret's memory, flowers to the family, or donations to Meals on Wheels, Hospice of Rockingham County, and Reidsville Alliance Church, would be a meaningful tribute.
