She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Brooks and Thelma Pike Brooks; her husband James Tuttle; her daughters, Kimberly C. Guy and Michelle Lee Case; her siblings, Philip Brooks (Ginny), Virginia Grogan (Jack) and Patricia Brooks Powell; and her grandsons, Joshua Dodson and Brooks Manley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shannon Gauldin (Obbie) of Reidsville and Stacey Richmond (Chris) of Gibsonville; and her grandchildren, Amber Matthews (Josh), Samantha Guy, Nicholas Richmond, Sydney Gauldin and Alyson Gauldin. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
