She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Pinnix and Martha Lawson Pinnix; and her brothers, John (Booger), James (Squeaky), William (Ricky), Robert, Larry, Richard, Lorenza and Roger.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil "Pookie" Singleton; her daughter Rashawn Singleton; her grandparent Rashawn Singleton; her sister Betty Alverson (Henry); her sisters-in-law, Annie Pinnix, Valerie Wheeler-Pinnix and Wylene Pinnix; and her aunt Gillie Pinnix. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McLaurin-Harris Funeral Home (721 E Morehead St, Reidsville, NC 27320). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church (8939 U. S. Hwy 158 W, Ruffin, NC 27326). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
