She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Henry and Mary Emma Keen Bailey; her husband Gilbert Cox Strickland; and her brothers, James D Bailey and Kenneth Sam Bailey.
She is survived by: her daughter Lori S Price; her grandchildren, Jeremy Stalvey (Lisa), Christa Isley (Patrick), Seth Price and Zachary Price; and her sister Mary Bailey McCollum (Mac) of Reidsville, NC..
