She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Edison and Kathleen Grogan Rhodes; her husband Robert Clyde Hanks; and her close friend Eunice Soyars. She is survived by: her children, Kimmy Clyde Hanks (Melissa) of Reidsville, Robin H. Smith (Dean) of Reidsville and Kathy H. Williams of Reidsville; her sister Arlene R. Isley (Danny) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, April Fix (Andrew), Brandon Hanks, Andrea Williams (Josh), Austin Hanks (Ciana) and Justin Hanks; her great grandchildren, Ansley, Addison, Jackson, Olivia, Brian, Caleb, Lennon, Maggie and Josie; and her caregiver Rebecca.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Citty Funeral Home, Inc. (308 Lindsey St, Reidsville, NC 27320). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Memory Gardens (7875 US-158, Reidsville, NC 27320).
