With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Daniel Stephens (Reidsville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on September 1, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Stephens and Marshie Stanley Stephens; his son-in-law Tim Ham; his siblings, Isaac Stephens Jr. (Mildred), John Stephens (Katherine), Marvin "Bud" Stephens (Temple), George Stephens, Don "Nink" Stephens and Frances Stephens Huskey (Wilbur); and his siblings-in-law, Maynard Hyler, Vickie Hyler and Shelby Stephens.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hyler Stephens; his daughters, Dawn Stephens Rickman (Todd) and Stephanie Stephens Ham (Jason Hodge); his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Maddie Rickman, Spencer Starr, Jackson Ham, Braeden and Colton Seacat; his great grandchildren, Evan and Ember Williams; his brothers, Jim Stephens, Wayne "Ootie" Stephens (Orenda) and Douglas "Punk" Stephens (Judy); his siblings-in-law, Barry Hyler (Kathy), Darrell Hyler, Michael Hyler (Cathy), Katherine Holt Hyler, Jean Stephens and Joyce Kincaid; and his pets, Ace and Gary. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
