We are sad to announce that on July 20, 2025, at the age of 74, Phyllis Hardy Hendrix of Reidsville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Frederick "Fred" and Evelyn Smith Hardy; and her sister Donna H. Fulton. She is survived by: her children, James M. "Jim" Hendrix (Jenny) of Reidsville, Brian Hendrix (Emily) of Willow Park, TX and Kimberly H. Strickland (Jonathan) of Aynor, SC; her sisters, Paige H. Southard of Reidsville and Penny H. Moore of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Katelyn Merricks, Rachel Merricks, Laylend Hearp, Mackenzie Hearp, William Hendrix, Jackson French, Hunter Pillow and Riann Hendrix; and her great grandchildren, Athena Marie Settle, Asher Hearp and Leigh Ann Hearp.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Citty Funeral Home, Inc. (308 Lindsey St, Reidsville, NC 27320).
