Gardner (Ruth); his brother Ronnie Gardner; his nieces, Courtney Shelton (Lee), Brittney Branch (Brandon) and Nicole DeCatur (Jake); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Teryn, Reed, Hayden, Ty, Lillie, Jaxon, Harleigh, Raelyn, Rowan, Colson and Indy; and his aunt Kim Stanley. He is also survived by aunts, uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one's choice that helps with cancer treatment and research or any charity that focuses on recovery.
