He is survived by: his wife Shirley Pulliam Cox; his children, Robert "Buddy" Preston Aswell, Jr. (Lisa), Linda Rose Chamblee (Davidson), Ruth Anne Davidson (Ernie) and Jamie Danielle Doman (Eric); his niece Michelle Garrison (Tommy); his grandchildren, Wanda Lynn Phillips, Jack Ray Chamblee, Lee Ann Lloyd, Will Brantley Davidson, Jacob Key Aswell, Skyler Renae Aswell, Robert "Tripp" Preston Aswell III and Isaac Jonathan Doman; and his sister Barbara Blowe. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
