We are sad to announce that, on January 28, 2026, at the age of 86, Robert Flippen of Reidsville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Lee Flippen; and his sister Rose A. Flippen Fountain. He is survived by: his wife Polly Ann Flippen; his children, Robert Lee Flippen, Jr. of Reidsville, Larrie S. Pinkard of Reidsville, Samuel H. Jumper of Reidsville, Clarence Jumper of Greensboro, Sharon J. Clements of Fayetteville, Shellie Jumper of Caswell County and Gail E. Flippen; his siblings, Lewis R. Flippen of Reidsville and Dianna Flippen Mendoza of Reidsville; his friends, Macey Durham and Johnny Yow; and his caregiver Bianca. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
