He is survived by: his wife Lou Anne Ferguson Witherspoon; his son Christopher Neal Witherspoon (Mary) of Reidsville; his grandson Austin Lane Witherspoon (Savannah) of Eden; his great grandchildren, Saylor, Stevie and Axtyn; and his pets, Precious, Sapphire (Georgia) and NutNut (Munchie).
A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (1821 Ashley Loop, Reidsville, NC 27320).
