It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dalton Simpson (Reidsville, North Carolina), born in Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Haywood Simpson and Allene Simpson; his parents-in-law, James and Doris Ellis; and his brother Donnie Simpson.

He is survived by : his wife Kay Ellis Simpson; his sons, Roger Dalton Simpson II (Brooke Simpson) of Reidsville and Christopher Lane Simpson (Tiffany Lane Simpson) of Reidsville; his grandchildren, Jude Gray Simpson, Taylor Kate Simpson, Alaina-Jo Simpson and Jeremiah Lane Simpson; and his brothers, Lee Simpson (Carolyn) of McLeansville, Mike Simpson (Peggy) of Kenly and Pat Simpson (Kathy) of McLeansville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ancora Compassionate Care, formerly Hospice of Rockingham County.
