It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Stevens Mounce (Reidsville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gorman Stevens and Jean Light Stevens; and her granddaughter Brianna Claire Carter. She is survived by: her husband Barry Clifton Mounce; her children, Chris Mounce (Amanda) and Jocelyn Carter (Ronnie); her brother Mark Stevens (Penny); her grandchildren, Tripp Carter, Cydney Mounce, Callen Carter, Tyler Carter and Everleigh Mounce; and her pet Ramona. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
