He is survived by: his wife Kathy Nelson; his siblings, June Howard (Ed) and Ray Nelson; his brother-in-law Ted Moore (Ann); his nieces and nephews, Melissa Price (Stacy), Maggie Dabbs (Rick), Adam Burnette (Brenna), Robbie Moore and Laura Raffle (Paul); his grandchildren, Jessica Price (Kalyn), Luken Price, Bryant Dabbs, Anna Dabbs and Wilson Dabbs; his great grandchildren, Willa Sackfield II (Mark) and Mandy Yates (John); and his granddaughter Holly Warner (Zach). He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
